They told us that Trump cannot be trusted on defence. Europe and the non-US West should seek closer military cooperation. This means less dependency on Washington.
What has happened is that Trump bombed the bad guys. Starmer, and Starmer alone, couldn’t be trusted.
Greece gave its full consent to the US using its air bases to attack Iran. The Australian government immediately supported Operation Epic Fury. They did so within minutes of it happening. Even Canada and the EU supported it.

It had to be done over Israel, which was under attack from Iran at the time. Three US servicemen died, imagine if Starmer’s stubborn sixth-form pro-Islamist agenda was a contributing factor.
Crowds of Iranians celebrating the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei last night were heard chanting “Keir Starmer’s a w@nker”. I imagine this sentiment is shared within the Pentagon. They will surely now be taking steps to cut the UK out of the loop. We have proven to be the single point of failure in Western defence cooperation.
The Special Relationship is now in tatters. Read more on
